Clarification regarding close-up glasses/differentials

Hello everyone

I wanted to ask about close-up glasses/differentials. Should I use them for most indoor activities like cooking where there’s no distant vision? Or rather they should only be used for computer screen, phone, reading a book, and activities that are very near for a prolonged time? I’m asking this since the close-up page on the wiki isn’t very clear about this:

Close up work is doing any vision task at arm’s length or less for an extended period of time. This includes reading, phone time, computers, needlework, and many others.

Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

The way I think about it is that close-up glasses are only for when you’re doing a close-up activity where you’re fixed at something for a long time. Hence cooking for example wouldn’t qualify.
